218,000 euros for driving the 50th anniversary edition of the Porsche 911
In this 2022 takes place the 50th anniversary of Porsche Design, the line of designer accessories from the Stuttgart company. And as every anniversary deserves a celebration in style, the luxury vehicle firm wanted to reward its loyal fans with a new limited edition version of 750 units of the Porsche 911.
Based on current 911 Targa 4 GTS, this model has many features and details that pay homage to the designs of Ferdinard Alexander Porsche. The 911 Porsche Design 50th Anniversary Edition It comes in solid black – and optionally in Jet black metallic – with platinum touches, such as the Targa bow (which is also satin) or the
decorative foil for the doors. Its silhouette is unmistakable thanks to the iconic gracefully sloping roofline that has been in the brand’s DNA since 1963 and the continuous light strip.
The inside comes with a Sport-Tex equipment with special elements in black leather and Slate gray stitching. Includes Sport Plus adaptive seats with 18-way electronic adjustment and memory pack, the sport chrono watch on the dashboard -which comes with a red second hand as was the case with the seventies Chronograph I-, a leather-wrapped GT sports steering wheel, headrests with the Porsche Design 50 logo embossed, plus sound system with eight speakers, 150 w with amplifier and digital signal processing, Porsche Communication Management y Porsche Connect, a system that has an online navigation module, streaming music and online radio, among other things.
As far as technical characteristics are concerned, this model comes with a turbocharged 3-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that provides a power of 480 hp and a maximum torque of 570 Nm. It mounts an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a seven-speed manual with a small lever for very short travel is also available. It accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 307 km/h.. The price of this model, which will arrive in April, is slightly higher than the 911 Targa 4 GTS, which starts at 191,453 euros, being its starting price in Spain of 218,045 euros.
