Claudio Ranieri sacked as Watford manager after just 14 games

The veteran Italian coach Claudio Ranieri was fired as a coach Watford after directing only 14 games on the bench of the ‘Hornets’, as reported on Monday by the club that currently occupies the penultimate place in the Premier League.

Ranieri, 70, arrived at Vicarage Road last October to replace the Spanish Xisco Muñoz, who was already fired due to poor results.

But the change of coach did not mean a significant change in the results of the team from the London periphery, which only added 7 points during the Italian coach’s stay.

Watford currently ranks nineteenth and penultimate place in the Premier League standings, two points from safety, having lost seven of their last eight games.
