Supreme Court judge Juan Carlos Maqueda suffered cardiac decompensation

Supreme Court Justice Juan Carlos Maqueda suffered a decompensation heart during a lunch in a restaurant in Recoleta and was admitted to the Juan A. Fernández Hospital, where he is out of danger, according to judicial sources.

Maqueda has been a member of the Supreme Court since 2002, and at 72 years old, he had already been hospitalized for heart problems and has three stents. This time it was a “syncopal decompensation” during a lunch in the La Recova restaurant, in the La Recoleta neighborhood, as confirmed by those close to the magistrate at THE NATION.

Out of danger, the Minister of the Court was about to finish his fortnightly duty fair this week at the Palace of Courts.
