10 dishes with seasonal fruits that you will want to try this summer

It has been several years since the chefs most relevant in the world highlight the importance of enjoying seasonal fruits and vegetables. Whether it’s both from an environmental perspective and from gastronomy itself, this enables us to more authentic flavors. Who doesn’t miss the texture and intensity of a fresh and very red tomato?

With this in mind, we created a list of our 10 favorite fruit dishes. From sweet and salty options, we also add some sweet and sour proposals for those who dare to dishes a little more played.

Aguachile is a typical dish from the Mexican west coast that originally contained a protein, chiltepin chili and water. Perfect to have a very power snack, if you visit Paris Crepas you cannot miss trying their special seasonal crêpe with strawberries, peaches, plums, orange or blueberries, covered with a semi-bitter chocolate sauce and a “Paris” cream based on of white chocolate and vanilla, all wrapped in a warm, fine and slightly crispy dough.

If they are from team Salads, Ninina has an incredible one with organic quinoa, kale, roasted pumpkin, feta goat cheese, cranberries, almonds, orange segments and a dressing based on homemade tangerine jam with olive oil, salt and pepper. The advice? Take advantage and accompany it with one of its Cold Press juices, such as kale and green apples.

You can never go wrong with a waffle right? Soft and fluffy they have that sweet and comforting quality that can become fruity and fresh when paired with plenty of fresh chopped strawberries and a scoop or two of artisanal ice cream. This is one of Chungo’s new products that – pay attention to this – has just renewed its artisanal pastry proposal and it is news.

Inspired by the traditional ceviche, the Amazonia restaurant offers a plate of fresh sole with finely chopped mango, red onion, rocoto pepper, fried plantain chips and cilantro, all submerged in a “tiger’s milk” made from lemon, celery, ginger , garlic, coriander and fresh fish. A dish that fuses sweet, spicy, fresh, tender and crispy in a spectacular way. Pair it with one of their signature cocktails on their cozy open-air terrace.

Inspired by Italian desserts, Fresca has a delicious Bianco di Bosco that is perfect for more traditional confectioners. It is made with top-of-the-line white chocolate and bathed in an abundant forest fruit sauce. The data? This dessert is also part of their gift boxes, so pay attention.

If you are into sweet and sour pizza, then this classic is what you are looking for. With roasted pineapple, La Guitarrita’s proposal includes house tomato sauce, abundant mozzarella and cooked ham (optional). Its soft and fluffy dough is cooked in a wood-fired oven and is perfect to try on the terrace of the new restaurant in Núñez.

100% vegan option, Mudrá is one of the restaurants that invites us to learn more about this gastronomy with super original proposals. If you visit, you have to try their “Super Kale” which has kale, lentils, roasted pumpkin, goat cheese, harissa, delicate orange segments and an avocado crown. Also take the opportunity to enjoy the whole atmosphere, because the place is spectacular.

In search of a new version of ceviche? Then the Cevichito Veggie de Hierbabuena Restaurant is all you need this summer. With avocado, watermelon cubes, fine radishes and onion in feathers, all bathed in coconut milk with peppers, lemon juice, lime and ginger, accompanied by crispy field corn and sweet potato chips to give it a crispy touch.

The classic Scandinavian aperitif gains a whole new ground with Dolce’s proposal. With pink salmon, they add sweet mango, fresh tomatoes and cucumber slices on a bed of green leaves with a cream-cheese, dill and lemon dressing.
