Valladolid already has its ‘La La Land’
The mayor of Valladolid, Óscar Puente, presented yesterday on the FITUR Screen stage the project ‘I’m going to have a good time… in Valladolid’, a tourist revitalization plan that comes from the hand of the musical that is being filmed in the city with music by Hombres G and directed by David Serrano, according to municipal sources in a statement.
The councilor, the producer of the film, Enrique López Lavigne, as well as David Summers, by Hombres G, participated in this presentation in which Óscar Puente highlighted the city’s support for these film projects, to which it also contributes its extensive monumental and natural heritage and its cultural and food and wine offerings.
Valladolid will launch guided and dramatized tours that will tour the spaces that are serving as the stage for the filming of the musical ‘I’m going to have a good time’
and that can be combined with a visit to emblematic places of cinema in Valladolid such as the Calderón Theater or the new Espacio-Seminci. In addition, temporary exhibitions linked to characteristic elements of the film will be organized.
During the talk, on the Fitur Screen stage, the producer of the musical highlighted the ease they have found to shoot in the city, the various locations, the collaboration of public services, the tranquility of the city. “Valladolid already has its La La Land,” said Enrique López Lavigne, who highlighted the quality of some of the spaces used during the filming of the musical that will be released in summer, such as the Plaza Mayor or the Old Coso.
For its part, David Summers assured that «the public of Valladolid has always turned to the Hombres G, and that now its streets have given us a spectacular setting».
