Ayuso asks Mañueco to take “the witness of May 4” to end Sánchez’s “nightmare”

The People’s Party barons They have met again this Saturday in León, at the regional congress of this political formation in Castilla y León. And they have done it to show a closing of ranks between them and with Genoa, to make it clear that their authentic adversary is Pedro Sánchez. Isabel Díaz Ayuso, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, Juanma Moreno and Fernando López Miras participated in a table coordinated by Alfonso Fernández Mañueco. This time there has been no occasion for loose verses or internal taunts, but there has been a single message, with an eye on the elections on February 13. Of course, Ayuso has vindicated his 4-M victory and has asked Mañueco to take the baton to end Sánchez’s “nightmare”.

All the regional presidents of the PP have arrived together at the Palacio de Congresos de León, after having lunch together, except Ayuso, who arrived right at the end, with other regional presidents of the party, and with the deputy secretaries Pablo Montesinos and Ana Beltrán. After posing the five before the cameras, the rest of the regional leaders have joined, as well as Ana Beltrán and Pablo Montesinos from Genoa.

“We are the spearhead of the PP’s management,” he stressed manueco, who has defended the work that the party is carrying out in the communities where it governs.

The president of the Region of Murcia, Fernando Lopez Miras, has been the first to intervene after the introduction of Mañueco. López Miras has pointed out that the PP’s roadmap in the regions is “precisely the roadmap established by Pablo Casado.” “When he is in La Moncloa and is president of all Spaniards, he will undoubtedly do what he says we should do in all the autonomous communities.” López Miras has commented that in Castilla y León a carbon copy of what happened in the Region of Murcia was being repeated, before calling the elections. “It all started in the Region of Murcia,” he stressed, referring to the motion of censure presented by the PSOE and Ciudadanos, and which caused a political earthquake throughout Spain. «What Mañueco has done has been to save Castilla y León from a motion of censure from the left».

The President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, recalled that Castilla y León has always been a reference for the Popular Party. “There is one more important thing that unites us, which is Spain.” But he has also made it clear that the result of 13-F is important for him, because the elections in Andalusia will be the following: «These 13-F elections are very important, obviously for the Castilian and Leonese, but it is not reduced here. It’s important to me because I’m the next one to take the test, so by God get a sufficient majority. For all of us who don’t like Sánchez’s policies or his pacts.”

In the turn of Isabel Diaz Ayuso, the biggest applause has come once again. Mañueco recalled that he has roots in Castilla y León, in the province of Ávila, and stressed that they share the same policies, such as lower taxes and the commitment to employers to create jobs. “She had to call elections, she gave us all a boost and created a path that we have to follow,” he stressed.

Ayuso, who has taken written notes in his speech, unlike the rest of his barons, although he hardly looked at them, has commented that he is half Madrid and half Castilian and Leonese, but above all he is “profoundly Spanish”. His criticism has been directed at the left, for wanting to erase the history of Spain and trying to decapitalize the country. These elections are not just to revalidate a free autonomous government, .«It is not just about an autonomous government, which it is, and which wants to be free. It goes much further. Governments when they are free are much more effective. 2022 is going to be the horrible year for all those who go against Spain.

«The 4-M was not an anecdote. This was an unstoppable change of free and equal citizens who want a change in freedom,” Ayuso stressed. “These elections must serve to put foot on the wall. To remember that we are not going to let ourselves be tyrannized by communism, neither by socialism nor by the false equality of the left ». “These elections are about this government but also about a country that is reaffirming itself. They are a beacon of light and freedom for all of Spain. This is the beginning”, Ayuso pointed out. «Take the witness of May 4 and show that Pedro Sánchez’s nightmare has an expiration date».

The president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alberto Nunez Feijoo, has been presented as the protagonist of four absolute majorities, something that is exceptional in today’s Spain. Feijóo has defended that Castilla y León needs stability for the economic growth that is needed in the coming years. “Mañueco is at the moment of greatest political maturity of his life,” he stressed.
