The TSJC ratifies the Covid certificate in the Canary Islands

The Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC) has agreed to ratify the judicial guarantee to the Government of the Canary Islands for the voluntary health measure of requesting the Covid certificate to access certain establishments and spaces for public use, agreed by Order of the Minister of Health, Blas Trujillo, of November 29, 2021.

This measure of presentation of the Covid certificate will be voluntary for establishments that want to expand their capacity, and as stated in the resolution, will have a maximum validity until January 15, 2022, being necessary in case of extension to request new judicial authorization.

Those who consider it may ask for this document from those who wish to enter hotel or nightlife venues, with the aim of putting a stop to the contagion of Covid-19 in the islands.

The Chamber points out that the capacity, number of people per group and closing times in force at all times for each activity and space in the immediately lower alert level to the one existing on the corresponding island in the centers, facilities, activities or buildings for public use whose managers voluntarily choose to require their workers and users over 12 years and 3 months the accreditation, also voluntary, of the absence of active Covid infection -19.

Since last December 1, present the Covid vaccination certificate, having passed the disease or a negative diagnostic test is mandatory for travelers arriving in the Canary Islands by air or sea from another community in Spain.
