Reopening, festival and sung verses for boys

A laboratory for listening and producing sounds that lead to micro-concerts, rounds of songs with the little ones and dances for the older ones, three-dimensional plastic creations, literary explorations between poetry, haikus and limeriks, movie moments and puppet stories. The reopening of the Piso de las Infancias at the CCK opens a wide range of proposals in its five rooms, each with a unique setting and a specific curatorship. On her first weekend after the long closure due to the pandemic, Ana Iniesta will perform with her songs (Saturday at 4:30 p.m.) and Bugs (Sunday at 4:30 p.m.), a puppet show directed by Mariel Lewitan (Little dragon, to fly), which represents the unfolding of new experiences in the social life of growing beings.

Wednesday to Sunday, from 2pm to 8pm, on the third floor of the Kirchner Cultural Center, Sarmiento 151. Free entry.

After the long isolation, the theater groups of boys that participate in the Festival of Theater and Disability return to the stage. “The vital energy of the boys in these casts leads the performances to end in a party atmosphere in which the emotion of the public participates”, highlights Virginia Lombardo, director of the event together with Pablo Silva. On Saturday they will present the Day Center Group, directed by Darío Skarza, with the work Janbled, later the Mendoza group Abremundos led by Gabriela Garro and at the end with a sample of brief scenes the Garzón Lombardo School, directed by Tamara Garzón Zanca. Sunday will act the group Sin Drama, directed by Juan Laso, and La Banda Alegría, the clownesque cast made up of the brothers Juan and Mariano Garzón.

“To love you, son, I make you songs.” Verónica Parodi summarizes in these verses the horizon of her poetry, a sung word. Throughout a score of poems that make up his book-album Humming, barefoot the voices of musicians sound that give sound flight to the texts. Some of them will present the play live from the stage on Tuesday: Chiqui Ledesma, Vuelta Canela, Mavi Díaz, Teresa Parodi, Sara Mamani, Georgina Hassan, Pablo Fraguela, Lula Parodi, Martín Porto and the trio Pim Pau in samba cadence. Others are worth listening to in the recording that accompanies the book illustrated by María Wernicke: Pedro Aznar, Víctor Heredia, Ana Prada, Marián Farías Gómez, Nadia Larcher, Franco Luciani, Victoria Birchner and the Karma Duo, who gave one of the poems a Cuban son rhythm.
