Long queues to get vaccinated in Valencia before the entry into force of the covid passport
The walk-in vaccination point against
coronavirusenabled this Friday next to Valencia Science Museum -on the occasion of the celebration of the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon on Sunday, December 5- has registered long queues of citizens, just a few hours before the EU’s Covid Digital Certificate begins to be required in the Valencian Community.
The Ministry of Health This dose administration point has opened at 10:00 a.m. and the device will remain operational until 2:00 p.m. and, again, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as well as on Saturday, December 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Likewise, two other vaccination points have been installed this Friday, in La Salera de Castellón de la Plana from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and in the shopping center of l’Aljub de Elche from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., according to sources from the department headed by Ana Barceló.
Crowds of people have once again responded to this initiative of the health administration and, therefore, the images of long queues recorded last week at the walk-in vaccination points deployed by the Black Friday in commercial areas of the Valencian Community. Then, a total of 1,719 doses were administered against the
coronavirusand, in some cases, they had to close later than expected due to “success” of influx.
The Valencian Community will demand from this Saturday at 00.00 the covid passport to be able to access leisure and restaurant venues with capacity for more than fifty people; spaces dedicated to recreational and chance activities with food; events and celebrations of more than 500 people where the mask cannot always be worn and visits to hospitals, when allowed, and to social services residences.
